How to Elope and Still Include Family — Abby & Cameron’s Popup Wedding

Tips for Including Family and Friends in Your Elopement

Wondering how to elope and still include family, friends, and the people you love most? We’re with ya! Many of our couples want to include parents, a few friends, and immediate family in their weddings without turning their wedding into a huge event (which is why we designed the Styled Popups package). Styled Popup Weddings are a great happy medium between an elopement and a larger event wedding; the wedding is still ceremony-focused, but there’s a rented space and a place for family to hang out while we’re taking tons of photos! Abby and Cameron wanted to include more than a couple family members in their morning wedding before they headed off for an entire day full of celebration, so the styled option was perfect for them — and it was so much fun to celebrate with their families!

Their morning wedding included biscotti and a hot cocoa + coffee bar in addition to their (adorable) cake, plus their family got to hang out in the space while I stole the two of them for portraits! Having a home base is awesome, especially for winter weddings (or really, any wedding that’s in less than ideal weather) — it was a little cold but Abby and Cameron were champs and we got some amazing photos outdoors!

Look how happyyyy! Plus, their outfits were so awesome. Abby’s dress with all the detail photographed like a dream and Cameron’s mismatched-awesomeness was so unique and pretty! I love the pop of blue with the tan (khaki?) pants. Amazing!
